6th April 2009 - No New Single!... Yet?

Shortly after I posted our last story regarding the official Bubbles website, it seems that the webmasters finally decided to remove it. Way to go guys, only 5 days late. This pretty much answers our questions regarding the legitimacy of this information.

I'm sure we can all agree that this was a horrible joke and highlights the notable lack of information we've been provided with regards to Bubbles' current projects. At this point, in a situation where no information is present, it would be nice for the powers that be to actually give us useful information instead of preying on a number of fans who need to rely on their favourite band's official website to provide concise and current information.

Let's hope that the next time they decide to post a new entry for the first time in over a year, they choose to be positive and truthful.

On a happier note, everyone still seems to insist that we will see something "soon" so woohoo, here's looking forward to a more sensible update next year!

6th April 2009 - New Single or No New Single, That is the Question

Those of you who visit the official Bubbles site may have noticed that a news entry has been posted for the first time since Christmas of 2007. Whilst the news itself appears on the surface to be very good, there is reason to doubt its authenticity due to it having been posted on a day that is notoriously used for lying to the masses.

The news reports that Bubbles is finally ready to release their first single from the new album that has been in progress for just under two years. This single, 'Liquid Fire' is purported to be released on April 29th in Sweden and worldwide on iTunes. The report also states that the album we've all been waiting for, will be released later this fall - that's Autumn for those of us speaking British English. Other interesting points to note are that the supplied image of the single is missing Caroline and lists the band as 'Bubbles'. If this information is correct, it does also indicate that Caroline won't be singing in this release and that the previously intended desire to change their name from 'Bubbles' to 'Bless' hasn't yet occurred.

I'm sure Bubbles fans everywhere would be rejoicing if any of us had a clue as to whether this information can be trusted or not. It is worth noting that it's been 5 days and the information still hasn't been retracted so, at this point, there's a 50% chance that the information is genuine.

So the question on everyone's mind at this point is, are we finally going o start seeing releases from the upcoming album we've been promised for the last 2 years or is this just a joke that's been taken too far by the people in charge of the official site? You decide. One thing's for sure, we'll find out one way or the other on April 29th.

On a side note, it seems that the official site URL 'http://www.bless.se' has gone down. The older link 'http://www.bubbles.se' still appears to be operational. Whether this is intentional or a slip-up is currently unknown but this would lend merit to the theory above that Bubbles will be keeping their original name, at least for now.

15th February 2008 - Site Update

Hi,

Since this site has been around for just over two weeks now, I figured it was time for a formal introduction. I'm Clive and I live in England. I have only recently become aware of Bubbles' music but as soon as I heard it, I was hooked. When I heard that the best Bubbles fansite around was being closed, I realised that there was a void that needed filling and set to work building my own site to spread the word of their obvious talent.

Anyone who is already aware of this site may have noticed that parts of it don't work. I've been working fairly extensively to try and get things up as quickly as possible and hope to have the remaining sections up soon.

This News page has been added to provide you with all the latest updates about Bubbles and their work as well as noteworthy updates of this site. Since this site is relatively new, we don't have any real news about Bubbles yet except to say that they're currently working on their new album, which is due to be released in Spring, and it is possible that there will be a single released before to provide an introduction to the album. Further news on this and other Bubbles related stuff will be added as soon as we get it.

The 'Multimedia' section has been up and running for some time. This lets you watch various Music Videos and public appearances of Bubbles via YouTube. I have done a full search across YouTube to ensure as complete a collection as possible. Note that these have all been posted by various other people and I have left all ties to YouTube intact to ensure that uploaders are easily identified.

I have recently been working on the Lyrics page. I noticed that, whilst the lyrics have been readily available for a while, a lot of them are either incomplete or very incorrect. I have manually verified each one and, whilst they're not perfect, they should be significantly more accurate than most that are available elsewhere. If you spot a mistake or are able to correct an ambiguous lyric, please feel free to email me with the details and I'll get it updated.

The final point of interest I would like to highlight is the Message Board. This is a place where fans of Bubbles worldwide can come to discuss the latest Bubbles' happenings or just randomly chat about anything.
